25 Western North Carolina High School Girls Soccer Players to Watch in 2024

The North Carolina high school girls soccer season has officially begun, and teams are gearing up for an exciting year on the field. With powerhouse programs like West Henderson and Asheville Christian Academy returning their star players, the competition is sure to be fierce. Here are 25 high school girls soccer players from Western North Carolina to keep an eye on in the 2024 season:

Averie AuBuchon, ACA, Sr.

AuBuchon showcased her skills with 12 goals and 13 assists in the previous season.

Holly Lanter, ACA, Sr.

Lanter, a forward, dominated the field with an impressive record of 35 goals and four assists.

Caroline Dew, Asheville High, So.

Dew stood out as a strong defender for Asheville High, contributing to a defense that only allowed 10 goals in 24 games. She also added two goals and 10 assists to her stats.

Lily Foo, Asheville High, Jr.

Foo’s remarkable performance included 26 goals, nine assists, and a game-winning goal that helped her team advance in the playoffs.

Naomi Miguelez, Asheville High, So.

Miguelez played a crucial role in the Asheville High defense, which limited opponents to just 10 goals. She also contributed offensively with five goals and three assists.

Peyton Case, Asheville High, So.
