Complaints of Drug Activity Lead Police to Arrest 3 in Asheville
Overview
After receiving complaints about drug activity, Asheville police conducted proactive enforcement earlier this week, leading to the arrests of three men from the same vehicle, including two felons for drug trafficking.
Arrest Details
On Tuesday, July 2, Asheville Police Department detectives and officers made contact with Justin Lee Garcia, 35, who was wanted on open warrants for parole violations, along with David Marshall Peck, 30, and Adrian Maurice Jones, 44, on Granada Street. All three men were found in the same vehicle at the time of their arrests.
Seized Drugs
During the arrests, Peck and Jones were found to be in possession of trafficking amounts of various drugs, including:
- 28.8 grams of fentanyl
- 44 grams of methamphetamine
- 3.6 grams of crack cocaine

- Booked into the Buncombe County Detention Facility under a $104,000 secured bond.
Justin Lee Garcia

- Warrant: Failure to Appear on Pretrial Release Violation x2
