- In-Person: Swing by the Tax Department located at 94 Coxe Ave., Monday to Friday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.. Just a quick word of advice—if you can, try to come in earlier rather than later. The lines tend to get pretty long as the deadline approaches!
- Online: You can also pay your taxes from the comfort of your home! Just head over to buncombecounty.org/paytaxes. Plus, paying by electronic check won’t cost you any additional fees!
- By Mail: Prefer to send in your payment? You can mail checks or money orders to:

- Your payments must be received or postmarked by January 6 to dodge a 2% interest fee.

- For 2024, the maximum credit card payment has increased to $4,000 per bill.
