Construction Underway at A.C. Reynolds High School and Middle School for Enhanced Safety and Security

Construction has started at A.C. Reynolds High School and Middle School to enhance safety and security. This includes installing a guard shack and gates at Rocket Drive and constructing a new sidewalk from the high school to the pedestrian crossing on U.S. 74-A. Rocket Drive will be temporarily closed during construction, but alternate routes are available for access. The project is set to be finished by mid-August to ready for the new school year, providing a more secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Buncombe County Schools is working to complete the project efficiently with minimal disruptions.
