Unique Bumper Sticker Leads to Arrests in Asheville Vehicle Vandalism Spree
After months of investigation, the Asheville Police Department has arrested and charged a group of individuals believed to be behind smashing more than 100 vehicle windows in the city. Detectives first noted the group breaking into Kias and Hyundais last summer, which escalated to vehicle thefts and window smashings.

Tracking down the suspects was aided by a distinctive bumper sticker on one of the stolen KIAs. 19-year-old Taysean Green has been arrested and is facing numerous charges, including breaking and entering, larceny, and injury to personal property. Green has a history of similar charges with other agencies.
Juveniles Involved in String of Car Window Smashings
