Art enthusiasts enjoyed a day filled with creativity in downtown Asheville on Saturday, March 9. Every second Saturday of each month, the River Arts District holds gallery walks with demonstrations, workshops, live music, and more. Visitors were even able to ride the trolley for free all day long. Artists working in local studios say the monthly event allows people to have a more personal experience with the art on display and learn more about the creative process. Those who missed Saturday’s festivities can plan to attend the next event scheduled for April 13.
