The Asheville federal jury convicted Keith Noles and Tina Hill on drug trafficking charges after a coordinated drug bust in 2021. The bust originated from Texas where authorities intercepted over eight pounds of methamphetamine intended for the couple in Marble, NC. Noles and Hill had a history of paying cash for similar shipments over the past year. Following the interception, Texas law enforcement arrested Noles and Hill, leading to their convictions for possession and conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. Additionally, Noles was convicted of possessing a firearm as a felon. The investigation was conducted by Homeland Security Investigations and the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office.
