Zella’s Deli opens in Swannanoa

Zella’s Deli has made a move from downtown Asheville to Swannanoa, where diners can now savor New York-inspired classics like pastrami on rye sandwiches and meatball subs. The former downtown deli space will be transformed into an extension of Imperial, offering a taproom experience with cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits on draft.

With its new location, Zella’s Deli aims to continue serving up delicious deli fare in a cozy setting. The restaurant’s hours are from 11 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. on Mondays to Wednesdays, 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursdays to Saturdays, and 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Sundays.

Morsel Cookie Co. bids farewell

Morsel Cookie Co., known for its thick and “ooey-gooey” cookies, will be permanently closing its doors. After a successful 3 1/2 years, the bakery expressed gratitude to its loyal patrons and staff for their support in a heartfelt message.

Owner Caroline Dockery, who introduced the cookie shop, will be embarking on a new adventure in her baking career. Despite the closure, the Morsel Cookie Co. legacy will live on in the memories of its customers.

The Crow & Quill celebrates 10th anniversary

Guests aged 21 and above are invited to join in the festivities. It’s a fantastic opportunity to raise a toast to a decade of hospitality and good times at The Crow & Quill.
