Asheville Police Seek Public Assistance Following Reported Drive-By Shooting at Houses
The Asheville Police Department is seeking the public’s help after a reported drive-by shooting resulted in multiple rounds being fired into an occupied house. Fortunately, no injuries were sustained, and only property damage has been reported thus far.
Incident Details
According to a news release, the incident occurred at 1:24 a.m. on June 11 near the intersection of Livingston Street and Hibernia Street in Asheville. Upon receiving reports of gun discharge, officers promptly responded to the scene. However, the suspects had already fled by the time law enforcement arrived.
During the investigation, officers discovered two shell casings in the vicinity and observed exterior damage to two houses as a result of the gunshots. One of the houses also sustained interior damage.
