Get ready, Asheville! It is time to take your local love to the next level with AVLtoday’s Best, where you can nominate and vote for your favorite businesses and venues around the city. From trendy coffee shops to dynamic event venues, we want to hear from you about the top spots Asheville has to offer. Let’s get started!
Nominating your Favorite Businesses and Venues
The process to nominate your favorite businesses is simple and user-friendly. Nominations are officially open and will be accepted until Friday, Aug. 16. To nominate a business, simply navigate to the nomination page, click on the map, then select the “Add Nomination” button. A list of various categories will be available for you to pick from. Once you’ve done that, just type in the name or address of the business or venue you would like to nominate in the provided field. Business owners can also self-nominate their businesses if they choose to. To add another nomination, click the “Add Nomination” button at the top of the map and follow the above instructions.

We’re recognizing a diverse range of local businesses across an array of categories including Adult crowd (21+), Kid-friendly activities/venues, Family venues, Pet-friendly places, Brunch, Outdoor dining, Music/Event venues, Breweries/Distilleries, Coffee shops, Golf courses, Apartment complexes, Fitness centers/Gyms, Restaurants, Staycation locations, Home service providers, Salons/Spas/Wellness, Real Estate Agents/Groups, Childcare, Road Trip destinations, Coworking locations, and Community Impact Brands.
Let the Voting Begin!
Voting will commence on Monday, Sept. 2 and ends on Friday, Sept. 20. We will announce the final nominees on Monday, Aug. 26, so stay tuned. Be sure to exercise your right to vote and make your voices heard!
