News 13 got a special, high-flying overview of the Biltmore blooms on Friday. On Friday nights, the Biltmore Estate gardens are open a little bit longer for visitors to enjoy thousands of flowers.
This month, visitors to the Biltmore Estate can witness the stunning azaleas in full bloom and the wisteria making a spectacular appearance after three years. According to Bill Quade, director of horticulture for Biltmore, “Spring is an awesome time on the estate. Not only do we have all sorts of things in bloom, but just the disposition of the gardens. Things are leafing out, so you just see different hues of green throughout the garden, you see different bloom colors, you can’t help but once you get into the gardens to feel welcomed here.”
