The WNC Nature Center’s first Brews and Bears event of the season kicks off Friday, May 10, at 5:30 p.m. and runs until 8:30 p.m. This is the first of four fundraising events that will be held throughout the summer to support the nature center’s animals.
The Brews and Bears event allows attendees to walk the nature center after hours with a drink in hand while taking part in educational programs to learn more about bears and other animals. This unique opportunity allows people to witness the animals engaging and interacting at a different time while also enjoying a cooler evening temperature.
The event is open to anyone interested in attending. Tickets are available at the door for $15 for members and $20 for non-members, offering a fun and informative experience for all visitors.
With the proceeds from the Brews and Bears events going towards the support of the nature center’s animals, attendees can enjoy a memorable evening while contributing to the vital conservation work carried out by the WNC Nature Center.
For those unable to attend the first event, mark your calendars for the upcoming Brews and Bears events scheduled throughout the summer, providing additional opportunities to engage with the wildlife and support the conservation efforts of the WNC Nature Center.
