Asheville, North Carolina – The Biden-Harris team has opened a field office right in Asheville. State Rep. Caleb Rudow and Mo Green, candidate for North Carolina Superintendent of Public Education, joined volunteers and supporters Saturday, May 18, at the Buncombe County office’s grand opening.
The Biden-Harris campaign is investing early in North Carolina as a key battleground state in this year’s election. “We welcome people that are unaffiliated, we welcome people that are Republicans who are disheartened by the direction of their party,” said Kathie Kline, chair of Buncombe County Democratic Party. “We’re a very big tent organization, and we’re also very excited about working hard this year.”
Over the next few months, the Biden campaign, along with the North Carolina Democratic Party, will continue to open more field offices across the state.
