Buncombe County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council seeks projects to fund
Overview
The Buncombe County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) is now accepting proposals for fiscal year 2024-2025. The JCPC has announced the availability of allocations totaling $66,893 in state funding for local nonprofits and public agencies working to serve youth involved in the juvenile justice system.
Program Types
The JCPC is seeking innovative projects designed to address identified needs in the community. The following program types will be considered for funding:
- Comprehensive Clinical Assessments (CCAs)
- Individual or Group Counseling
- Substance Use Counseling Services
- Restorative Services
- Restorative Justice
- Structured Day
- Tutoring
- Academic Enhancement
- Mentoring
Application Process
New applicants are required to attend a JCPC Program Application Orientation Workshop. Applications are due by Friday, April 19, 2024, and must be submitted online in NC ALLIES. Applicants must present their proposal during an Allocations Hearing.
