Five Stranded Boaters in Lake Erie Cinchingly Saved by Coast Guard Helicopter Crew

The survivors were presumably attached to a cooler; they floated, hanging on to their lives until the rescue team arrived. All five were unharmed with no significant injuries reported. They were promptly taken to North East Ohio Regional Airport located in Jefferson, Ohio.
The rescue team was commendable in emphasizing the importance of life jackets in such hazardous circumstances. It was noted that all five survivors wore life jackets, arguably a major factor that contributed to their survival.
