Main Level Gallery: W.O.W.: Wood Invitational

In the Main Level Gallery, the W.O.W.: Wood Invitational will feature over 20 contemporary wood artists presenting their creations in various styles. Aspen Golann, one of the participating artists, quoted, “I think that exhibition visitors will be most impressed by the incredible range of imaginative and technical approaches to this ubiquitous material.”

Lower Level Gallery: Works on Paper

Works on Paper is a group show in the Lower Level Gallery that explores the expansive possibilities of paper and different media applied to it. Leigh Suggs, a multi-media artist, described her work as “tactile and conceptual, methodical and instinctual.” Her creations involve intricate processes like hand-cutting and painting.

Showcase Gallery: Color in Motion

The Showcase Gallery will showcase Color in Motion, featuring three artists specializing in baskets, flameworked glass, and quilts/drawings. Julian Jamaal Jones, one of the artists, mentioned, “For this exhibition I wanted to highlight my style and how I utilize color and design differently than other artists.” The exhibition aims to emphasize the interplay of colors and designs.

Small Format Gallery: Filling a Home

Visitors can find Filling a Home, a solo show of glass objects by Chris Kerr-Ayer, in the Small Format Gallery. Chris mentioned that his work is inspired by combining found objects with handmade components, exploring how people connect with their living spaces and what home signifies to individuals.
