News 13 is once again partnering with Carolina Furniture Concepts for our 12th annual Break the Hunger Food Drive. The drive is happening on Friday, June 7, 2024, from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. at the Carolina Furniture Concepts location on Airport Road in Arden (100 Airport Rd, Arden, NC 28704). Storage and transportation of donations are generously provided by Two Men and a Truck.
All canned food and monetary donations go to benefit Children First of Buncombe County. If you’re unable to make it out in person, online donations will also be accepted. By making a monetary donation to Children First of Buncombe County, you will be able to provide opportunities for success for local children both inside and outside of the classroom.
The organization provides support to children and their families that include school supplies, tutoring and mentoring, teaching parenting skills, and helping families feed their children throughout the year.
If you’re unable to make it in person, online donations are also accepted. Make sure to support the cause by contributing to Children First of Buncombe County to make a difference in the lives of local children.
