The postmaster, Drew Mabry, described the hail as the largest he has ever witnessed in his life. “You had hail that was as big as your hand, I mean softball, tennis ball, baseball size,” Mabry remarked.

“It had to be 60-70 mile per hour wind gusts,” Mabry said. “There’s nothing you can do, that’s the power of the Lord, that’s just the power of God right there.” Ray Faine, a resident living nearby, described the chaos as if “all hell broke loose for about 15 minutes and then it just died off.”
