Hickory Crawdads Fall 11-6 to Asheville Tourists Despite Late Rally

The Hickory Crawdads were defeated 11-6 by the Asheville Tourists in the series finale, despite a late four-run push in the eighth inning. Tucker Mitchell had a strong game with three hits, including a home run. Asheville’s Cam Fisher contributed two home runs, including a decisive three-run shot in the ninth inning. The Crawdads will be on a 12-game road trip before their next home game against the Greensboro Grasshoppers on May 14th.
