Asheville Prepares for Exciting Holiday Jamboree on November 23!

Asheville Gears Up for a Festive Holiday Jamboree!

Asheville is buzzing with excitement as it prepares for this year’s Annual Holiday Parade, which is getting a delightful makeover! Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 23, because this year, the parade is transforming into a vibrant Holiday Jamboree at Pack Square Park. Sponsored by our beloved Bojangles, this family-friendly festivity promises a day filled with joy, laughter, and community spirit.

What to Expect

The Jamboree will run from 11 AM to 5 PM and aims to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors alike. You can expect a plethora of fun activities suitable for all ages. Whether you’re looking to enjoy festive music, delightful local food, arts and crafts, or simply soak up the holiday spirit, there will be something for everyone!

This gathering isn’t just about the festivities—it’s about bringing the community together. Families can create lasting memories, friends can reunite, and everyone can spread a little holiday cheer. The transformation of the traditional parade into this Jamboree is a perfect way to celebrate the season!

Important Changes and Traffic Information

Now, while we’re all excited about the festivities, it’s important to know that the celebration will come with some limited impacts on our usual flow in the area. For those planning to attend, please note that North Pack Square will be closed from 7 AM to 7 PM. Additionally, Court Plaza, S. Spruce St., and S. Market St. will also be closed to traffic during the same hours.

If you rely on bus routes around this area, such as 170, S2, WE1, and WE2, be aware that these street closures will lead to detours. It’s always a good idea to check the route ahead of time to avoid any inconvenience to your travel plans.

Parking and Accessibility

With the temporary street closures, parking may be a bit challenging for those attending, as there will be no available parking spaces on the closed streets and adjacent areas near Pack Square Park. So, if you’re driving in, consider carpooling with friends or using public transport where possible. We all want to enjoy the festivities without the stress of parking!

Join the Celebration!

The Holiday Jamboree is a fantastic opportunity to embrace the community spirit, get together with friends and family, and enjoy the offerings of local vendors and artists. Plus, it’s a great chance to start getting in the holiday mood! Don’t miss out on this cheerful event that highlights the best of Asheville—both in its local talents and its wonderful, engaged community.

For additional guidance, including updates and information about the Jamboree, you can visit the city’s official website. Get ready to celebrate the season, Asheville!
