Asheville’s Long-Standing Jacksons Western Store Could Be on the Move

Asheville’s Long-Standing Jacksons Western Store Could Be on the Move

Western Store Outgrows Current Location

Jackson’s Western Store, a well-known establishment in Buncombe County, is facing the possibility of relocation due to its rapidly expanding business. The store, located at 641 Patton Avenue near Interstate 240, has been a staple in the community for decades, but its current space can no longer accommodate the growing demand for Western fashion and merchandise.

Surge in Popularity of Western Style

The decision to consider a move was not influenced by potential road projects along I-240, according to store officials. Instead, the surge in popularity of Western fashion and items across the country has led to a significant increase in customers seeking products such as saddles, boots, and jeans from Jackson’s Western Store.

Store manager Nathan Jackson emphasized the widespread appeal of Western attire, stating, “It’s not just this community, not just North Carolina, but all of America has been looking for Western everything. We are a good source for everybody getting saddles, boots, and jeans. So, we need more space.”

Expansion Plans and Timeline

The store’s management is planning to relocate to a new, larger location within the next 2-5 years to better serve its customers and meet the increasing demand for Western products. Groundbreaking at the new site is anticipated in the near future, marking an exciting new chapter for Jackson’s Western Store.

Stay Connected for Updates

As the relocation plans progress, customers and supporters of Jackson’s Western Store are encouraged to stay connected for updates and announcements regarding the move. The store’s commitment to providing quality Western merchandise in a larger, more spacious setting reflects its dedication to meeting the evolving needs of its clientele.
