Locally Made Products Earn Nomination for “Coolest Thing Made in NC”
Asheville, a city famous for its local artists and crafts, has now added another feather in its cap with several of its locally-made products nominated for the esteemed title of “Coolest Thing Made in NC”. The nominations are part of a statewide competition started in 2020 by the NC Chamber to celebrate North Carolina’s vibrant manufacturing community.
Local Asheville Products in the Running
This year, products from Asheville have not only been nominated but are also showing promising results. Among the nominations are the 70s-inspired James Collection sneaker from Opie Way, the compact and durable Ocoee drybag from Watershed Drybags, and the delectable double chocolate croissant from French Broad Pantry. Also included is the groundbreaking product from Cane Creek Cycling Components – Invert, the world’s first gravel fork.
