Moog Music Factory’s Synthesizer Store Closes in Asheville

The Moog Store in Asheville’s Moog Music factory has closed, marking the end of synthesizer sales at the factory location. The store provided a hands-on experience for customers to test and purchase synthesizers made by the Asheville-based company. This closure is a part of Moog Music’s transition towards research and development of new synthesizer technology. The Moog factory will continue operating with a focus on hand-crafting instruments by engineers. Those curious about the company’s legacy can explore the Moogseum in downtown Asheville.
