The North Asheville apartment complex project at the former Fuddruckers site is facing a delay of at least another year. The building was demolished last summer, and a 186-unit apartment complex was planned to be constructed on the site. The founder of Kassinger Development cited high interest rates as a significant factor causing delays on their multi-million-dollar projects. The project is expected to resume once costs decrease.
