Peri Social House Boutique Hotel to Open in Black Mountain This Summer

A Multifaceted Destination Coming to Black Mountain

The picturesque town of Black Mountain, nestled in the stunning mountains of North Carolina, is soon to welcome a new multifaceted establishment that promises to bring a unique blend of experiences to locals and visitors alike. Peri Social House, set to open its doors this summer, is the brainchild of co-owners Kathryn and Trevor Rudisill.

Embracing the Mountain Lifestyle

Derived from the word “peri,” meaning “mountain dweller,” Peri Social House draws inspiration from the surrounding natural beauty and the spirit of adventure. Kathryn Rudisill describes the establishment as a fusion of a coffee shop, craft beer shop, and boutique hotel, all rolled into one. The concept aims to cater to both permanent residents and weekend explorers, offering a space for relaxation and community.

A Passion for Hospitality

The Rudisills, who also own Gold River Camp and Cabins in Marion, found their calling in the hospitality industry through hosting a diverse array of guests at their glamping campground. Their love for creating memorable experiences for travelers from around the world fueled the vision behind Peri Social House, where guests can expect a warm welcome and a cozy retreat.

Transforming a Historic Space

The building housing Peri Social House is currently undergoing extensive renovations in preparation for its grand opening. Once home to the Wild Hare event venue, the space is being reimagined to incorporate unique features such as a sunroom, porch for events, and an outdoor area. The design concept aims to create an inviting and dynamic environment.

Fostering Community Connections

Kathryn Rudisill envisions Peri Social House as more than just a place to stay or grab a drink—it’s a hub for fostering community ties and collaborations. With a focus on local vendors and craft beers on tap, the establishment seeks to strengthen the sense of camaraderie among businesses in Black Mountain and provide a welcoming space for families and individuals to unwind.

Anticipated Opening and Location

Peri Social House is slated to open its doors this summer at 406 W. State St. in Black Mountain. As the Rudisills put the finishing touches on their vision, the town eagerly awaits the arrival of this distinctive boutique hotel that promises to add a new layer of charm and hospitality to the mountain community.
