New Rooftop Italian Cucina Makes Grand Debut in Downtown Asheville
Two new restaurant bars are elevating downtown’s dining scene and social experiences. On April 18, Embassy Suites by Hilton Asheville Downtown hosted a grand opening celebration following the debut of its second food and beverage concept, the Italian-inspired Soprana Rooftop Cucina.
Last winter, Embassy Suites opened E’Terie, a lobby-adjacent bar and grill offering a menu of bar bites and snacks, as well as mains like Korean-style chicken and waffles, pizzas, and flatbread dishes.
In March, Soprana’s doors opened to the public on the seventh floor as a chic rooftop pizzeria with panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Soprana’s features an assortment of classic brick oven pizzas and appetizers, including burrata and cheese, oven Brussel sprouts, smoked white bean dip, warm Castelvetrano olives, and a charcuterie board with local treats.
Soprana offers a variety of pizzas, such as the Asheville Pizza with pepperoni, mozzarella, and Asheville Bee Charmer’s honey, and the Chop Shop pizza with various meats, mozzarella, olives, chilies, and herbs.
The bar at Soprana offers specialty cocktails and brews from local breweries like Burial Beer Co., Hi-Wire Brewing, and Wicked Weed Brewing.
Indoor table and booth seating, along with bar seating, are available at Soprana. Additionally, a special events room is open for private bookings.
The rooftop provides ample seating with views, creating a casual yet upscale ambiance with string lights and candles in the evening.
