Early Musical Influences

Originally from the foothills of northern Pennsylvania and the Southern Tier region of New York, Iaquinto was introduced to bluegrass music at a young age. His love for the genre was reignited in college, especially after discovering the Grateful Dead and the work of bluegrass legend Bill Monroe.

Passion for the Mandolin

Iaquinto’s musical journey took a significant turn when he picked up the mandolin at age 22. Inspired by artists like Sam Bush and Chris Thile, Iaquinto found the mandolin to be a versatile and expressive instrument that resonated with his musical sensibilities.

Fireside Collective’s Evolution

Formed in 2014 in the vibrant Asheville music scene, Fireside Collective started as a traditional bluegrass band, winning accolades and nominations from the International Bluegrass Music Association.
