Among the standout performances this week, Lydia certainly made a name for herself. She shocked her opponents by scoring an impressive 19 points in a blazing 67-40 victory against Cross Creek. Not one to rest on her laurels, she followed that up with a solid contribution of 9 points and 2 assists in a staggering 72-6 win against East Gaston. It looks like she knows how to light up the scoreboard!
But Lydia isn’t the only one catching eyes this week. Over in Georgia, Moore pulled off a solid display with 15 points, alongside 6 rebounds and a fierce 4 steals during the Cavaliers’ 47-38 win against Norcross. It’s clear that she’s not just contributing to her team’s points but also playing solid defense.
Meanwhile, Maralit has been shining bright on the court, scoring 16 points, grabbing 7 rebounds, offering up 6 assists, and snagging 5 steals in a total rout—54-24 victory over Woodruff. Talk about making a significant impact on both ends of the court! Her gameplay truly illustrates how teamwork and individual skill can come together for a massive win.
Not to be outdone, Wilson lit up the court with an awe-inspiring performance: 33 points on 14-of-24 shooting, plus an impressive 8 rebounds during the Tigers’ thrilling 63-57 win against A.C. Flora in the third-place game of the Pepsi Classic. A must-watch player for sure!
Still, the competition didn’t stop there! A dynamic freshman, Thomas, secured herself a killer performance, racking up 29 points, 14 rebounds, and 4 steals in the Bengals’ decisive 65-48 win over Crestwood. It seems like this young star is ready to make waves!
Meanwhile, the 5-foot-11 senior guard gave a stellar performance, scoring 28 points in the Swamp Foxes’ 51-41 victory against East Forsyth (N.C.). Her experience is clearly shining through, and it’s exciting to see such tenacity in play!
In another standout game, Grant shone as she led North Augusta with 17 points in a steady 54-30 win over Washington County, which ultimately saw her team winning the Laney Christmas Tournament. It’s wonderful to see players not just win but also contribute consistently to their team’s success.
Completing this impressive lineup, Willis achieved a remarkable double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds, while also blocking three shots in the Eagles’ commanding 55-35 win against Carvers Bay. A true testament to her all-around abilities!
Last but not least, Marcengill wowed spectators with an incredible performance, delivering 27 points on 13-of-21 shooting, along with 6 assists, 6 steals, and 3 rebounds in their emphatic 87-39 rout of Greenville Tech. What a way to light up the scoreboard!
