TRVE Brewing opens in former Eurisko location

Asheville, North Carolina

Mere months after Eurisko Beer Co. poured its last pint, TRVE Brewing Co. has moved into the South Slope brewery’s vacated space and is fully operational. Launched in Denver in 2012, TRVE Brewing has become familiar to certain Asheville-area craft beer drinkers over the past decade through collaborations with Burial Beer Co. and participation in Wicked Weed Brewing’s Funk Invitational sour beer festival.

The turnkey situation at 255 Short Coxe Ave. enabled TRVE Brewing to open its Asheville location on March 15. Head brewer Zach Coleman, who is also a musician in multiple bands, has been with TRVE since its inception. The brewery’s focus on clean, sour, and mixed culture beers, as well as its heavy metal theme, adds to its appeal.

EJ Nunns, a co-owner of TRVE Brewing, highlighted the brewery’s commitment to inclusivity and creating a welcoming space for all. TRVE’s emphasis on using local ingredients and crafting beers that reflect the region resonates well with Asheville’s craft beer community.

The transition to the former Eurisko location was seamless for TRVE Brewing, showcasing the industry’s support and understanding. The acquisition of Eurisko’s brewing system has provided TRVE with new opportunities for experimentation and enhancing beer quality.

TRVE Brewing’s metal-themed approach signifies inclusivity and fosters a sense of community among patrons from diverse backgrounds. Through collaborations with local bands and venues, TRVE aims to strengthen the local metal scene while offering a unique experience to its customers.
